Decatur Central High School is known for its 5 Small Learning Communities. Decatur Central High School (DCHS) provides its learners with rigorous curriculum, preparing them to be college and career ready in this 21st century world. DCHS may seem like a typical high school, but this is far from the case. Within the bricks of the physical building, there are 5 smaller schools, referred to as ?Small Learning Communities?. Each Small Learning Community serves 350-400 students and is flavored uniquely to meet the interests and learning needs of its diverse population
