City of Rochester | Riverside Cemetery

Located on the banks of the Genesee River in the northwest area of the city, Riverside Cemetery has been a fixture in Rochester's landscape since it was established 1892. Portions of the cemetery were designed by noted landscape architect Alling DeForest, who also designed the grounds of the George Eastman House and the original plans for the University of Rochester River Campus.
